According to Solis, a 3-phase (Eastron SDM630) meter can be used in a single-phase installation with their latest 1ph EH1P hybrid inverters. The instructions in the manual depict such a meter connected to a 3-phase supply, but Solis has confirmed its compatibility with single-phase installations.
The Solis RHI-48ES-DC is a hybrid inverter from the Solis RHI series, designed for residential systems. It can work with batteries to optimize self-consumption and can operate in both off- and on-grid modes.
This inverter should be able to charge 6 of these same batteries (when they finally arrive). Also, the extra grunt means it can cope better with heavy demands during the day and running an oven and washing machine at the same time no longer requires significant power to be pulled from the grid. It works really well.
