The mechanism of controlling the expansion of Lake Besaka is aimed through pumping the Lake water to the upper reservoir that located on the peak of mount Fantale using solar energy. The study results indicated as a solar plant which has a capacity of 43.58MW is required to pump the total net annual inflow to Lake Besaka and control its expansion.
